Waiting patiently in line...

Glory to our King and asking for His blessing on this day, and to protect every child and driver.

...not just for the guys...

...this day is for shining stars like you...

...this little person was so sick, but did not want to stop. He just kept going and going and going...

..and inspired us all...

Live to Race is about a passion for children, a keen interest in classic and sports cars,

a strong sense of being of service to others and of changing lives.

All the glory to God, Who loved us first, and shows us how to love,

through Whom all things are possible.

The first event: June 29, 2008.

Our first event... was going to be the first of many. All the planning and dreaming finally came together. The team of helpers were ready. The drivers arrived. Excited children arrived. Everything just fell into place...

...and off we went...

For Charlie, this race was not just reaching out to others...

....it was the last time he had his car on the road, and passed away shortly after...

...for others it was the first of many...

A big thank you to all the volunteers....

...who give more than any body can imagine...

...precious time, and something of themselves...

The smile that makes it all worth while...

Were it all started...

It began more than four years ago...

...with a passion for classic cars, and a dream of owning my own GT40...

The only way that this was going to materialize, was if I built one myself.

This dream seemed very much far fetched as I did not know anything about building a car, not to mention the insides of an engine...

So this is where we started...

Of cause the best way to learn to swim is to jump right in at the deep end... they say...
